MINUTES OF MEETING HELD IN VILLAGE HALL, DENHOLM ON
TUESDAY, 16th MAY 2023 FOLLOWING A G M

RIDE OUT: It was noted the following items were organised:
- Toilets – Agreed
- Skip – Agreed
- K Stewart, Fun Fair etc – Agreed
- Bags for around Green – Confirm with Doug Crew
- Charlie to be asked for fencing, ropes etc
- Sid to Handle Introduction and Presentations
- Scott arranging with Sandy re Gifts
- Auld Cross Keys Sponsoring Gifts – Agreed
- Fox & Hounds arranging meal for Principals – Agreed
- Information Leaflet being produced by Scott
These to be discussed at next meeting which is to be organised ASAP
Tidying up after event seen as a problem with more help required. Vicky kindly offered her assistance.
CAR BOOTS: This discussed in detail. John & Doreen to look at dates and report again to next meeting and organise helpers.
DEAN: Chris introduced himself to council and gave a comprehensive viewpoint on the requirements for Dean. Vicky was very keen to be involved. It was also suggested to contact Graeme Wilson regarding setting up a small Sub Committee.
QUOITING HAUGH: Chris again discussed requirements and the need again for a small committee to work on this.
OTHER BUSINESS:
PUFFIN CROSSING: Gwen stated that there was a consultation regarding this to take place in Village Hall on Wednesday, 17 May 2023 between 3.00pm – 7.00pm prior to the Community Council Meeting.
E V CHARGING POINTS: Gwen again some details of Scottish Powers suggestions for up to Four Proposed sites in village. George reported on our meeting where this was discussed and said that we were in agreement that the two sites on Feuars Ground proposed was in order.
He had confirmed this to Dale, who was dealing with this on behalf of Community Council.
NEXT MEETING: An early meeting of Council and co-opted members required. Doreen to check if Church Hall was available for Wednesday, 24th May 2023 at 7.00pm.
