MEETING TO BE HELD IN VILLAGE HALL, DENHOLM ON
Monday 20th March 2023 AT 7.00pm
Denholm Feuars’ & Householders’ Council invite all villagers to the above meeting where it
is hoped as many of you as possible will be able to attend. The DF & HC Council are looking at the way forward to update and modernise its way of working and encourage new members from a wider age range who would better reflect the needs and aspirations of the residents of Denholm Village. The council is committed to work for the benefit of all residents of Denholm.

- Electric Charging Points – 3 Fast Chargers – Discuss the possibility of these being sited on Feuars’ Land ie: Fisherman’s Car Park Area
- Quoiting Haugh – Tidy up/Tree Planting (Funding Available)
- Discuss on how to better involve villagers in Feuars Business
- Discuss a proposal to Alter Constitution at re-arranged AGM to be held in May to include all Council Members as Trustees

The Trustees manage and look after the land and buildings generously gifted to them in 1946 and 2019. This includes the Green, Small Green, Quoiting Haugh, Fisherman’s Car Park, Leyden Monument and more recently the Lower Dean also other pockets of land.
The Feuars agree to the use of the Green for events and recreational purposes setting any appropriate fees or rents to ensure income for maintenance of its assets.
If you wish to help and contribute to the future of the village please come to this meeting and show you support. We hope that people will wish to join us on Council or be willing to be co-opted for specific areas of interest. This need not be a large commitment – just an enthusiasm in ensuring that Denholm remains a desirable place for families to live and work.
